about

I first heard the term "geographically undesirable" from my dad. It resonated. He unwittingly titled another song of mine: "Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time." Hopefully we'll record it in the next little batch of tunes. My brother Bennett told me a funny joke today: In 1984 little 7 year old Billy has a revelation listening to Air Supply on his tape player through headphones. He says to his mom, "When I grow up, I want to be a musician." She replies, "Oh Billy, you can't have both."

Why we play music:

For the love of it. Because we’re hungry. To make people happy and dance. To make all the pretty girls cry. Because we’re high. Because we’re low. Because we’re drunk or ascetic. Because we can’t in good conscience do anything else. ... more
